2026 Arun Sudhakar Memorial Fund Scholarship
Description
The California Transportation Foundation (CTF), a nonprofit organization, announces two $2,500 scholarships: the Arun Sudhakar Memorial Fund Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Applicants must be in their senior year of high school and the son or daughter of a Caltrans employee. All high school seniors interested in the disciplines (such as engineering, architecture, or urban studies) practiced within the California Department of Transportation are encouraged to apply.

Selection Process
Applicants must meet the following general criteria:
- Must be a United States citizen, permanent resident, or documented international student.
- Must be in his/her senior year of high school.
- Must be the son or daughter of a Caltrans employee.
- Must submit a brief essay or video. (See “Application Instructions” for details.)
- Must provide a copy of his/her current transcript (unofficial/internet copies are acceptable).
The Arun Sudhakar Memorial Fund Scholarship is supported by a gift to the CTF. This scholarship is endowed and its funds are administered by the CTF, a nonprofit public benefit organization established in 1988, to “Promote and Recognize Excellence in California Transportation.” It is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with tax exempt status. The Federal EIN # is 68-0165257.
