Description
Must be an employee or a spouse/dependent of an employee that works in the wholesaler or supplier tier of the alcohol industry in Colorado
Exclusions: CBDA Board Members and their spouses/dependents; and CBDA Foundation Board Members and their spouses/dependents
Must be a high school senior, graduate or GED equivalent attending a qualifying institution (see list)
Cannot have received this scholarship before
Selection Process
- Four-year colleges and universities
- Two-year college programs
- Post high school vocational school
- Other post-secondary institutes recognized by the Department of Education

Colorado beer distributors do much more than transport beer. They are small business owners, civic leaders, parents, and active philanthropists in their communities. Colorado’s beer distributors have created nearly 8,000 direct and indirect jobs, contribute approximately $535 million in wages annually, and have a total economic impact of $1.5 billion.
We are proud to have awarded $67,500 to 17 recipients in just 3 years.
