The Foundation was founded by Harold W. Berkman and his wife, Muriel, to pursue their longstanding dedication and commitment to higher education in the United States in preparing future business leaders and promoting the growth of knowledge into effective business and administration.
Welcome to the Harold and Muriel Berkman Charitable Foundation Award (HMB) Process.
Selection Process
- You must be pursuing a marketing degree within a business school (non-business degrees are not eligible). Undergraduate or graduate marketing degrees are eligible (MBAs with marketing emphasis are eligible).
- An awards committee evaluates all complete and eligible applications. The committee considers the students’ academic credentials, potential to finish the marketing degree, quality of the essay, as important criteria in ranking candidates.
- Freshman are not eligible.
- U.S. Citizens who are matriculating in a degree program at a university accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). See AACSB.EDU to see if your school is accredited.
- Awards can only be given to applicants who provide correct information, including all contact information. Payments do not follow for some time so make sure any address (physical or electronic) is permanent as you may be contacted by email or postal mail.
- To complete the scholarship application, you will need to upload pdf files containing a 1-page resume' and an unofficial transcript from your current school.
