Immigrant and Refugee Assistance Fund (IRAF) 2026
Description
The Immigrant & Refugee Assistance Fund – provides grants to help support the needs of immigrants and refugees in New Mexico such as legal assistance, education, workforce development and employment opportunities, and social services.
Application Criteria:
· Applicant organizations must have 501(c)3 nonprofit status and be in compliance with applicable state and Federal regulations.
· We anticipate maximum awards of $2,000 each, grants shall be made in early September, 2026
· Grant distributions must be used within one year of receipt for the stated purpose. Any unexpended funds must be returned to the Jewish Community Foundation of New Mexico.
· All grantees must submit two brief written reports:
within six to seven months of receiving grant award that highlights progress-to-date of the project/program
within 30 days of the conclusion of the grant period that shows how grant monies were used and what outcomes were achieved
