ISSA Charities General Application 2026
Description
Applicants must be affiliated with an ISSA member company or Cleaning for a Reason partner company through at least one of the following relationships to be eligible for an award:
-ISSA staff member or immediate family of a staff member
-Cleaning for a Reason partner company affiliate, either as an owner, employee or an immediate family member of an owner or employee
-Employee of an ISSA member company or immediate family member of employee
-Sponsored by an ISSA member company
You will need to have the ISSA membership number or the Cleaning for a Reason partner number to complete your application.
Due date is Monday, April 20, 2026, 11:59pm Central Time
You will be filling out one general application and then will be taken to a list of all of the ISSA scholarships for which you are eligible. After submitting the general application, it is your responsibility to follow up with those from whom you've requested letters of recommendation to make sure they submit them electronically by the deadline.
Candidates should be entering or continuing studies at a fully accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the fall of 2026 to major in whatever they desire. Scholarship awards will be made on the basis of merit, individual accomplishments, and evidence of leadership. Financial need and other special circumstances may also be considered.

Please note that ISSA Scholars awards cover the cost of books and tuition only. Other school related expenses such as room and board, materials, etc. are not covered under these awards.
This scholarship award covers the 2026-2027 academic year unless defined otherwise.

Most recent official high school or college/university transcript. Printed copies from the Internet will not be accepted.
Optional: official SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, or LSAT test scores. (You may send a copy of the original document received from the testing agency. These scores do not have to be submitted if they appear on your high school transcript, or if you are already in college.)
Two mandatory evaluations from current or past professors or teaching assistants. If you are unable to obtain two educational evaluations, you may have the forms completed by an employer, supervisor, or coach. Candidates must follow up with those from whom they've requested letters of recommendation to make sure they are submitted electronically by the deadline. Applicants with less than two completed evaluations will not be considered for a scholarship.
