Idaho Power Company Memorial Scholarship 2027
Description
This scholarship program was created to memorialize the lives of former Idaho Power employees Douglas E. Sprenger, Kevin M. Whittier and Larry R. Wimer. This program provides two (2) $1,000 scholarships to Idaho residents who are graduating high school seniors or students entering their first year of college and planning to enroll in an engineering program at an accredited Idaho college, OR college students of any level enrolling in a natural resources program at an accredited Idaho college. Awards are granted on a one-time basis for the school year directly following the scholarship award, are not renewable, and may not be deferred or held for later use.
If awarded, Idaho Community Foundation will forward a check directly to the institution for credit to the student’s account; the award will be split between the fall and spring semester of the first year.
Applications open January 1, 2027.
Deadline for submitting your application is March 1, 2027, at 11:59pm MST.
