Kids' Chance of Nebraska Renewal Application 2025-2026

Please complete the application renewal to the best of your ability. You may need assistance to gather the necessary information. After initial review, the scholarship committee may contact eligible students to verify information, request additional documentation or secure missing information. Please respond to our inquiries.
The scholarship committee will determine the strength of each renewal application and approve scholarships as funds allow. Kids’ Chance will notify approved students of their award amount, verify enrollment, and upon completion of the process. Payments are sent directly to the post-secondary institution. Your student ID# or account # is required.
In general, Kids’ Chance scholarships may be used for any item included in the official Cost of Attendance, unless restricted by the state organization.
If you can answer “YES” to these questions, please submit a short renewal application:
- Previous Kids’ Chance Scholarship Recipient
- Demonstrated financial need to pay for post-secondary education.
- Continuing enrollment at an accredited university, college or technical school.
- Pursuing a degree as a full-time student.

Kids’ Chance of Nebraska is proud to provide post-secondary and trade school scholarships to the children of Nebraska workers who have been severely or fatally injured in an employment related accident. The children of these workers often lose opportunities for secondary education.
Kids’ Chance of Nebraska is a non-profit organization raising funds for educational opportunities for these children to pursue their education, reach their goals, and fulfill their dreams for the future.
