Kids' Chance of South Carolina was organized in 1993 and awarded its first scholarship in 1995. Since that time, the organization has awarded $1,222,765.96 in scholarships to children of South Carolina's seriously or fatally injured workers.

Previous Kids’ Chance Scholarship Recipient
Maintained "Satisfactory Academic Progress" (SAP)
Demonstrated financial need to pay for post-secondary education.
Continuing enrollment at a trade/vocational school; industrial/commercial training; junior college/community college; undergraduate program at a college; or a graduate program at a college.
Completion of a FAFSA - the Free Application for Federal Student Aid - for students attending a 2-year or 4-year college or university.
