The PENTA CARES Foundation Scholarship

The PENTA CARES Foundation awards three scholarships each year to students pursuing degrees in construction-related fields. Since 2009, we’ve proudly awarded over $700,000 in scholarships, with 56% awarded to minority students and 44% to female students, reflecting our commitment to building a more inclusive future in construction.

Award Amount: $5,000 – $20,000

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered, applicants must:

• Have a 3.0 GPA or higher

• Be a high school senior or undergraduate freshman with fewer than 24 credits

• Attend or plan to attend University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), or an accredited university in Arizona or Southern California

• Major (or plan to major) in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• Be able and willing to participate in a paid internship with The PENTA Building Group in Las Vegas, Southern California, or Phoenix for at least one summer before graduation
