PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois Scholarship 2026

Introduction

The PCNI Council of Northern Illinois x Synchrony Scholarship is twenty unrestricted  $2500 scholarships for Illinois LGBTQ+ undergraduate, graduate, and continuing students from 17 to 28 years of age with the purpose of encouraging LGBTQ+ people to continue their educational and career aspirations after high school. Applicants are evaluated on their involvement in the community, their honesty and passion when sharing their experiences, and their desire to grow and achieve as an LGBTQ+ role model for others. 

Description

Please fill out ALL fields before submitting or your scholarship application may not be considered.

Scholarships are awarded to the individual and are valid for one academic year (August to July). Recipients are expected to carry at least a 1/2 load of courses or 6 credits/hours.

Recipients will be informed by May 15, 2026.

Qualifications

This application will close after April 15, 2026. All questionnaires, letters of recommendation, and transcripts must be received by that date. Letters of recommendation should include names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for both the applicant and the recommender.
