Pat Weston Memorial Scholarship 2026
Description
The California Transportation Foundation (CTF) and the California Department of Transportation, Planning and Modal Programs are offering one (1) $1,000 scholarship. The employees must be full time employees and have been employed by Caltrans for a minimum of six months. This scholarship is intended to recognize, encourage, and assist outstanding Caltrans Employees, who are pursuing a Baccalaureate or Graduate degree in planning or a related field.
Selection Process
To be eligible for this scholarship, each applicant must meet the following criteria:
Be a full-time employee and have been employed by Caltrans for a minimum of six months at the time of application
Be working towards a baccalaureate or a graduate degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, or City or Regional Planning. Related fields of studies such as: Urban or Regional Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration, Environmental Policy or Studies, Geography, Sociology, Political Science, Landscape Architect, or Economics will also be considered
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
Plan to pursue a career in transportation planning, urban planning, or city or regional planning after graduation
