Summer Camp Tuition Assistance 2025
Description
The Galit Mares Scholarship Fund and the Irving and Hertha Auerbach Fund for Jewish Identity provide scholarship awards for the benefit of Jewish youth from New Mexico attending Jewish “sleep-away” summer camp.
The Jewish Community Foundation is excited to help provide Jewish overnight camp experiences for local New Mexico Jewish youth.
This scholarship awards up to $500 for each recipient.

Selection Process
Camp must be a "sleep-away" camp listed by the Foundation for Jewish Camps.
The mission of the Jewish Community Foundation of New Mexico is to build and perpetuate support for a vibrant, caring Jewish community through partnerships with donors and organizations.
In addition, the JCF strives to: identify and help address evolving community needs; educate about the power and joy of philanthropy; inspire donors to match their values with their valuables to affect the community now and in the future.
