Introduction
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as a Texas ENA Delegate. Delegates serve in that capacity to help shape the direction of the organization at the annual ENA General Assembly. Delegates must meet criteria set forth by the National ENA Bylaws. Delegates are selected using a point system. Points are accumulated for holding elected office and committee activity from Jan 1, 2025, through May 31, 2025. Additional points are accumulated for meeting attendance at Texas ENA general assembly, chapter meetings and other activities such as voting in the national ENA election, publications, and ENA presentations from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025.
Points are also awarded for current specified certification and ENPC/TNCC instructor/course director activity. To accumulate points for Texas ENA meetings attended; the member must stay for the majority of the state council meeting. Local meeting attendance, local elected office and committee activity must be verified by the chapter president. Additional points are available if you have published an article or presented at the ENA Annual Meeting.
