The Valley Club Employee Scholarship Fund offers education scholarships to current employees, spouses, and children of The Valley Club employees. The main purpose of the Valley Club Employee Scholarship Fund is to provide educational opportunities for eligible high school and college students to pursue their career goals. We also encourage students of any age to continue their education beyond high school to provide better employment opportunities.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

Valley Club Employee Scholarship applicants must be:

  • Any current employee (full-time, part-time or seasonal) who has worked a minimum of 200 hours prior to July 15, 2026.  

  • Or a spouse or dependent child of such an employee. Dependent children are defined as biological, grand-, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.

  • Educational opportunities for career advancement are acceptable and encouraged. Leisure and/or recreational opportunities will not be considered.

  • Must be a graduate (or soon to be graduate) from an accredited high school or have a General Equivalency Diploma from an accredited institution.

  • Must have qualified entrance (or plans to enroll) to an educational program during the Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 terms in the United States wherein a degree or certificate of completion can be earned. This includes, but is not limited to junior college, two or four-year college, trade school or certificate programs, and higher education beyond the scope of a bachelor’s degree.  

  • Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), or better.

  • Past recipients may only be eligible based on the criteria as defined above.

 

Non-renewable Scholarship:

1.      The scholarship is valid only for the academic school year in which the applicant applied or received an award. This scholarship is not renewable. No holdover or guarantee of any kind is made for a scholarship award in any future academic year. The applicant is solely responsible for completing an application and meeting all the deadlines if they wish to be considered for a scholarship.

2.      Every person must apply annually for this scholarship opportunity and meet the eligibility requirements at the time of application submission. We encourage previous award recipients to apply annually.

3.      All persons can be awarded a maximum of 5 times.
