2026-27 Vocational Scholarship Application

Introduction

Since 1989, UnitedAg has been awarding scholarships to its members to provide financial assistance, business skills and leadership development to advance the educational goals of members, their employees and their employees’ dependents (children and grandchildren). In 2000, the Agribusiness Education Foundation (AEF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was developed and has since awarded over $2.1 million in grants to over 1,200 students seeking educational, post-secondary and vocational funding.

Description

Exclusive to employees affiliated with active UnitedAg members (Regular, Associate or Affiliate level), the Vocational Scholarship offers financial support to members and employees seeking agriculture-specific education and training at accredited vocational schools, trade schools or other institutions. Please note, employee dependents in vocational schools should apply to the Educational Scholarship Program. Up to $10,000 in scholarship grants are available to eligible applicants. Applications are currently open and will close on December 31, 2026.

What do I need to apply?

  1. Completed online application

  2. Resume

  3. Photo

  4. Two letters of recommendation written in 2026

  5. Video personal statement (No more than 3 minutes long)

Qualifications

All applicants must be affiliated with an active UnitedAg member company (Regular, Associate or Affiliate level) as an employee of that company. Please note, employee dependents in vocational schools should apply to the Educational Scholarship Program. Up to $10,000 in scholarship grants are available to eligible applicants.

Selection Process

The Education Committee, comprised of eight agricultural leaders, will begin reviewing all applications at the start of the new year. Scholarship recipients will be announced in March. Stay tuned!
