Selection Process

Requirements: All projects must have been installed from January 1, 2023 through April 15, 2025. All design work and/or installation must have been completed by the business submitting the project. If you partnered or collaborated with another designer or business, please include them on your application form.

Please include at least 5 digital color photos in JPG format (at least 2MB in size) taken in landscape layout, of your design, maximum of 8 photographs. Please upload videos as well as photos if you can. Photos must be of quality worthy of a professional publication—your submission may be rejected if the quality of your photos is substandard. A minimum of 2 MB in size is required—check your cell phone to see if high-resolution photos are possible. Please do not upload .HEIC files directly from your iPhone.

You do not need to have your project professionally photographed, but all photos must be high resolution, clear, well-lit and at least 2 MB in size. You may edit your photos to brighten the shadowed areas, but no other enhancements are permitted.

Photos taken during the daytime usually turn out best (unless you are photographing holiday lights outdoors.)
