Coalition for Kids Grant Application 2026

Description

The Coalition for Kids Fund provides the opportunity for local community-based organizations serving young children in Josephine County—ages birth through 5—to apply for grant funding each March. Grant applications will be reviewed by the C4K Fund Advisory Committee and distributed for program use each July. Please review the Grant Guidelines for information about allowable uses of grant funding. A total of $106,000 will be distributed in the 2025 grant cycle.

About Redwood Foundation for Education

The Redwood Foundation for Education provides scholarships and grants to students in schools throughout Southern Oregon. Awards are based on demonstrated leadership and co-curricular activities, academics and need, and are funded by donations from individuals, businesses, service clubs and class alumni.


Founded in 1964 as the Josephine County Educational Fund, Inc. (JCEF), in 2022, after more than five decades of growth, the organization changed its name to recognize its expanded service area and scope. Today, the Redwood Foundation for Education manages over 250 individual funds and more than $12 million in assets. In 2025, we awarded $922,105 in scholarships to students throughout Josephine County and Southern Oregon.
