Become a Scholarship Reviewer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a Scholarship Review Board Member with Collaboratory. Before registering, please review the information below to understand the review process and commitment.


Reviewer Commitment

Review Period: January 26 – February 17, 2027

As a reviewer, you will:

  • Review approximately 12–18 scholarship applications

  • Spend about 8–10 hours over the three-week review period

  • Complete your reviews online using our review platform

Training

No prior experience is required. Training is provided and includes:

  • A tutorial on using the review platform

  • Guidance for evaluating scholarship applications

  • Tips and best practices from experienced reviewers

  • You will select a training option during the registration process

How to Participate

New Reviewers


Step 1: Watch the Reviewer Information Video (Required)

New reviewers must watch the video before completing the registration form. It contains important information you'll need before committing to serve as a reviewer.

This short video explains:

  • The scholarship review process

  • Reviewer expectations and responsibilities

  • Time commitment

  • How applications are evaluated


Step 2: Submit the Reviewer Registration Form

After watching the information video, click on the "Begin" button to complete your reviewer registration form.

By submitting the registration form, you confirm your participation and acknowledge that applications will be assigned when the review period begins.


Returning Reviewers

If you've previously served as a Scholarship Review Board Member, you may skip the information video and go directly to the registration form by clicking on the either "Begin" or "Log in to Apply" button.
