Description

Award Criteria

The Corvias Foundation Scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria: 

  • Clearly defined goals

  • Financial need

  • Readiness for post-secondary studies

  • Planned use of the scholarship funds

Each of the aforementioned criteria will be based on the information provided within the online application. 

Allowable Use

Tuition, course or lab fees, program or other costs of attendance, program fees or exam costs/fees, professional expenses such as licensure/certification (or renewal), CEU's, professional examinations, required clinical supervision of mental health license hours, and other related expenses such as fingerprinting and background check fees.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this award, you must:

  • Be the spouse of an active-duty service member stationed at one of the following U.S. military installations at the time of application or application due date.

    • Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

    • Fort Bragg, North Carolina

    • Fort Meade, Maryland

    • Fort Polk, Louisiana

    • Fort Riley, Kansas

    • Fort Rucker, Alabama

    • Fort Sill, Oklahoma

  • Plan to attend and be accepted to/enrolled in a community, technical, or four-year college (for profit and proprietary schools upon review) a continuing education or licensure/certification program for the 2026-2027 school year. See more under Allowable Use above.

In order to apply, you will need:

  • A notarized copy of Form DD1172 (DEER) or equivalent to prove your dependent status

  • Most current Duty Station/PCS Orders for your active-duty spouse
