HRCEF College Scholarships 2026
Introduction
Welcome to the application portal for HRCEF college scholarships. The Hood River County Education Foundation administers ten separate scholarships for Hood River Valley High School Graduates who are currently enrolled in a college, community college, or a technical/trade program and have completed a minimum of 1 semester. The Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital Healing Careers scholarship is also open to alumni who are not currently enrolled, but who will be enrolled in an eligible program in the fall.
Students currently enrolled in a Master’s, Doctorate, or post Doctoral program are not eligible. Scholarships funds are intended for undergraduate programs. Graduate and postgraduate programs are not eligible for funding.

As part of this application, you will need to upload the documents listed below. Our scholarships do not require any additional documents, essays, recommendations, etc.

In order to apply, you will need the following:
A PDF copy of your official or unofficial transcript
A PDF copy of your FAFSA Student Submission Summary or ORSAA (first & last page)
Name & contact information (email) for a college instructor - preferably in your field of study - who can provide a letter of recommendation.
If you are applying for a Providence scholarship and not currently enrolled, we recommend submitting a letter of recommendation from an employer or volunteer coordinator in your intended career or field of study.
All applications are due Monday, April 13.

Qualifications
Eligibility Requirements
Applicant must be an HRVHS or HROA graduate
Applicants who have already completed a four-year degree are not eligible
Scholarships are intended for undergraduate funding, and may not be utilized towards Master’s Doctoral, or post-Doctoral programs.
With the exception of the Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital Healing Hands Scholarships, applicants must be currently enrolled in a two-year, trade or four-year degree program.
The Hood River County Education Foundation was founded in 1991 to support the students, families, and educators of the Hood River County School District. Through its 46 scholarship funds, HRCEF has awarded more than $1.5 million to Hood River Valley high School graduates. HRCEF has also distributed $425,000 through the Impact Teaching Grants.
