The Corvias Foundation Purple Tassel Scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria:
Academic performance
Community Involvement
Financial need
Each of the aforementioned criteria will be based on the information provided within the online application.
Selection Process
To be eligible for this award, you must:
Be the the dependent of an active-duty service member stationed at one of the following U.S. military installations at the time of application or application due date.
Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
Fort Bragg, North Carolina
Fort Meade, Maryland
Fort Polk, Louisiana
Fort Riley, Kansas
Fort Rucker, Alabama
Fort Sill, Oklahoma
Planning to attend a four-year college (for profit and proprietary schools upon review) as a first-year undergraduate for the 2026-2027 academic year.
In order to apply, you will need:
A copy of your (the applicant's) DD1173 Form (military ID) or equivalent to prove your dependent status
Most current Duty Station/PCS Orders for your active-duty parent
Your most recent high school transcript (does not need to be an official copy)
At least one and up to two letters of recommendation.
A detailed resume of all employment and activities
