Description
Founded over 60 years ago, The Strivettes is a Non-Profit Christian organization that supports education and community service for our youth. Our mission is to grant scholarships and resources to worthy students that demonstrate merit and commitment to church, education, and the betterment of our society. The Strivettes began providing scholarships to students in 1984 through its “Adopt A Student” program and over the years, have awarded over $800,000 in scholarships to over 500 students.
Qualifications
Graduate high school by Spring/Summer 2026 OR be a continuing undergraduate student enrolled at an accredited college/university or technical/trade program
Be accepted and/or enrolled full time the semester for which the scholarship shall be used
Be 25 years old & under
Demonstrate a commitment to church and community
Selection Process
Requirements
You will need the below information/documents in order to complete this application:
Name and email of two(2) individuals who will provide a current letter of recommendation.
Unofficial Transcript (if selected as a recipient, an official transcript will be required).
Letter of Acceptance (for high school graduates) or Proof of Enrollment (for continuing undergraduates).
500 word (one page) Personal Statement / Essay addressing the following question: The Strivettes are built on faith, education, and service. Describe a specific time you put one of these values into action, not because you were required to, but because you chose to. What did that experience reveal about the leader you are becoming or strive to be.
