2024 Houston Book Grant (up to $200)
Description
The Chester and Nadine Houston Book Grant provides grants to teachers for supplemental books for their classrooms. It is not meant to cover textbooks.
This grant is open to all Professional Licensed Educators in Unit 4 or District 116 (as designated by the Illinois State Board of Education). All qualifying Houston Book Grant applications will be put into a drawing where names will be randomly selected. Please note, this is a Reimbursement Grant. This means you will make the purchases yourself and submit receipts to CUSF for reimbursement. This is how we ensure accountability to our donors.
Selection Process
1. Only grant proposals that have the potential to enrich learning opportunities for school age children within the Unit 4 and District 116 public school districts will be considered.
