Academic Excellence Scholarship 2025
Description
The scholarship program provides fourteen (14) $2,500.00 scholarships for graduating high school seniors who live in Idaho Power’s service area and have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.75. Students must enroll full-time in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business, or communications program at an accredited Idaho or Oregon two- or four-year college or university. Awards are granted on a one-time basis for the school year directly following the scholarship award, are not renewable, and may not be deferred or held for later use.
If awarded, Idaho Power will issue a check directly to the institution for credit to the student’s account; the award will be split between the fall and spring semesters of the first year.
Applications open January 1, 2025.
Deadline for submitting your application is March 1, 2025, at 11:59pm MST.
Applicants will be notified of the selection committee’s decision by email no later than April 30th.

Selection Process
