The Adult Achievement Scholarship 2025
Description
The Lighthouse Credit Union Foundation's Adult Achievement Scholarship is for anyone with a High School diploma or GED looking to further their education in order to better their life and that of their family and community.
This scholarship is available to any member who has graduated High School or who has their GED and will be attending or is currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year accredited college, technical school or graduate program in the 2024 academic year.
Selection Process
• A copy of your current school transcript (for those already enrolled in school) or most recent (high school/GED transcript submitted by March 14, 2025).
• Letters of recommendation from two (2) of the following: organizations you regularly volunteer with, your current place of employment (supervisor), or former teacher/coach.
• A 300-500 word essay.
• A college, technical school or graduate program acceptance letter or proof of current enrollment.
• An available list of honors or awards, academic activities, volunteer work, employment, and leadership positions – these will be needed to complete the application.
• The person applying must be a member in good standing of Lighthouse Credit Union for one year or longer (on or before January 21, 2024).
• Must be 23 years of age or older by application deadline date. Birthdate must be on or before March 14, 2025.
