AtkinsRéalis Foundation Scholarship - Spring 2025
Description
The AtkinsRéalis Foundation Scholarship is offered to rising Sophomore-level and above students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) programs. Each semester, students submit their application and required criteria for an opportunity to receive a $4000 award.
The purpose of the scholarship is to:
Build stronger networks with traditional and non-traditional universities to ensure AtkinsRéalis is a key partner in building an industry pipeline that represents all communities.
Help provide gap funding for outstanding students from underserved communities to ensure successful completion of their STEM degree programs.
Develop a relationship with students for future internship or employment opportunities within AtkinsRéalis.
In recent years, AtkinsRéalis has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships annually!
Qualifications
Eligibility for the AtkinsRéalis Foundation Scholarship:
A US citizen or permanent resident.
A full-time student at an accredited and approved college or university.
Enrolled in contiguous fall and spring semesters, carrying a minimum of 12 credits and earning a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) each semester.
Working towards a baccalaureate degree in science, technology, engineering or math, specifically related to disciplines within our industry with at least 12 credits of college work at current institution and prior to the submission of the application. These degrees include but are not limited to:
Architecture
Civil Engineering
Construction Management
Environmental Engineering
Environmental Sciences
Geomatics
Landscape Architecture
MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) Engineering
Project Management
Transportation Planning
Selection Process
The AtkinsRéalis Foundation Scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis and recipients are chosen by a selection committee made up of AtkinsRéalis senior professionals, management, and human resources staff. Selection is based on academic achievement, commitment to the industry and community, and letters of recommendation.
There is a shortage of professionals in our industry, and it is vital that we get more students interested now, to protect the future of our industry. We really love our jobs, and we are really passionate about passing on our enthusiasm and encouraging more people into our industry.
