Blaze Credit Union - Teacher Grant 2025

Introduction

The Blaze Credit Union Foundation Teacher Grant Program is dedicated to empowering teachers within the community by funding innovative and impactful educational projects around financial wellbeing and life skill development. Grants of up to $2,500 will be awarded to support projects focused on financial well-being and life skill development. These projects must be underfunded or not funded by the school district. Special consideration will be given to Title 1 schools, but any K-12 grade-level accredited public, private or charter school within the state of Minnesota is eligible to apply.

Funds are allocated directly to the school on behalf of the awarded project, ensuring that the grant money is used to support the intended educational initiatives. Personal disbursements are not allowed. As part of the application process, applicants are required to attach a detailed budget for their project.

The program values educators who demonstrate a commitment to enriching student development through creative, real-world learning opportunities. Recipients of the grant will be asked to submit a 3-month progress report through their Kaleidoscope account, including updates, photos, and testimonials, displaying the implementation and impact of their project. Blaze Credit Union Foundation is proud to support these efforts and help teachers make a lasting impact on their students' lives.
