Congressional Briefing Scholarship - Board Member 2026

Description

The American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living Congressional Briefing is an annual event in Washington, D.C., that brings together hundreds of long-term care professionals to meet with Members of Congress and discuss issues impacting residents, facilities, and communities.

Nebraska Health Care Foundation will award one (1) scholarship up to $1,800 to a Nebraska Nursing Facility Association or Nebraska Assisted Living Association board member wishing to attend the AHCA/NCAL Congressional Briefing, June 8-9, 2026, in Washington, D.C. The scholarship will be used toward registration, travel, and lodging.

To spread the impact of the scholarship program, if an applicant has received a scholarship in the same category within the last three years, another applicant may be given preference. However, past recipients are still eligible and encouraged to apply.

Selection Process

Applicant must presently serve on the Nebraska Nursing Facility Association/Nebraska Assisted Living Association (NNFA/NALA) Board of Directors.
