2025 Consumers Cooperative Association High School Scholarship
Introduction
Consumers Cooperative Association, the proud sponsor of Consumers Credit Union, has launched a scholarship program to support eligible high school seniors who wish to further their education in college. These scholarships are available for full-time study at any accredited institution of the student’s choosing. Funding for the scholarship comes from the one-time membership fee that members pay when joining the Consumers Cooperative Association, enabling them to become eligible for membership at Consumers Credit Union.
Description
The Consumers Cooperative Association is offering twenty-one (21) scholarships totaling $50,000 for high school seniors graduating in the class of 2025. Twenty (20) selected students will each receive a scholarship of $2,000, while one (1) student will be awarded the Bill Reidel Memorial Scholarship, valued at $10,000. The $2,000 scholarships will be disbursed in a single installment by the Consumers Cooperative Association. The checks will be payable to the recipients' schools and mailed to the students' home addresses by August 1, 2025. The Bill Reidel Memorial Scholarship, worth $10,000, will be split into two payments over two years: $5,000 will be awarded in the first year, and the remaining $5,000 will be provided in the second year. To qualify for the second-year payment, the student must maintain a B average during their first year. The check(s) will be payable to the student's school and sent directly to the school by August 1.
