Description
HRCU's Scholarship Program is dedicated to supporting local students in their pursuit of higher education. Each year, HRCU awards scholarships to deserving college students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.
Selection Process
This scholarship is for current college students only.
There will be $1000 scholarships offered for part-time and full-time students.
Applicant must be a member of the Credit Union in good standing for a period of not less than six months.
The applicant must attach to the application a current College Transcript and grade point average.
Applicant must be accepted at or attending an accredited college or university as a full or part-time undergraduate student or attending an accredited vocational, technical, or trade school or equivalent certificate program, regardless of the year they are matriculated (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior).
The applicant must attach a copy of their Student Aid Index number (replaces EFC letter).
Letter of recommendation from a mentor/coach/teacher/employer etc.
Submit an essay or presentation for the question proposed in the application.
Application must be completed in full to be considered.
Applications must be submitted by April 15th.
About The Organization
Our History - The Credit Union was founded by a small group of parishioners of Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, New Hampshire. This group was formed to provide assistance and advice to people who otherwise would not have easy access to financial services by traditional means. Over the years, HRCU has grown into a full-service community credit union that takes pride in providing up-to-date services while maintaining the compassion and personalized service that has facilitated growth and member loyalty.
