IAAP Summit Scholarship 2026

Description

Summit Scholarship

IAAP Summit 2026 | Virtual & In-person

Summit Scholarships offer administrative professionals the opportunity to attend IAAP’s premier annual event. These scholarships remove financial barriers by covering registration and, for select recipients, lodging and travel expenses. Whether attending virtually or in person, Summit provides access to leadership-focused sessions, professional development, and meaningful connection with the IAAP community.

Applicants must choose one of three scholarship levels when applying.

Scholarships Include

All Summit Scholarship recipients will receive:

  • Full registration to IAAP Summit 2026 (Virtual or In-person)

Select recipients will also receive:

  • Three nights of hotel accommodations at the official conference hotel

  • Travel allowance up to $700

Candidate Criteria

All candidates for the Summit Scholarship are expected to meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Choose one of the following scholarship levels: Virtual attendance; In-Person registration only; All-inclusive (includes registration, 3 hotel nights, and travel allowance)

  • Confirm ability to attend and use the scholarship in 2026

  • Have not received an IAAP Foundation scholarship within the past three (3) years

  • Not currently serving as an IAAP board member or in leadership roles such as chairs or chair-elects

  • Scholarship must be used in the year it is awarded

Applicants may not apply for multiple levels or multiple scholarships in the same cycle.

Mālama ʻohana Scholarship

In addition to the general Summit Scholarship, the IAAP Foundation offers a designated, donor-funded opportunity. Created by longtime IAAP supporters Roy and Nora Onishi, the Mālama ʻohana Scholarship honors the spirit of ʻohana—family, community, and support—and is intended to assist IAAP members from Hawaii in attending IAAP Summit in person.

Recipients selected for the Mālama ʻohana Scholarship will receive:

  • Full registration to IAAP Summit 2026

  • Three nights of hotel accommodations at the official conference hotel

  • Travel allowance

Additional Eligibility Consideration
In addition to meeting the general Summit Scholarship criteria, preference is given to applicants who:

  • Reside in Hawaii

  • Are available to attend IAAP Summit 2026 in person

If no eligible Hawaii-based applicants are identified, the Mālama ʻohana Scholarship may be awarded to another highly qualified Summit Scholarship applicant.
