Mālama ʻohana Scholarship
In addition to the general Summit Scholarship, the IAAP Foundation offers a designated, donor-funded opportunity. Created by longtime IAAP supporters Roy and Nora Onishi, the Mālama ʻohana Scholarship honors the spirit of ʻohana—family, community, and support—and is intended to assist IAAP members from Hawaii in attending IAAP Summit in person.
Recipients selected for the Mālama ʻohana Scholarship will receive:
Full registration to IAAP Summit 2026
Three nights of hotel accommodations at the official conference hotel
Travel allowance
Additional Eligibility Consideration
In addition to meeting the general Summit Scholarship criteria, preference is given to applicants who:
Reside in Hawaii
Are available to attend IAAP Summit 2026 in person
If no eligible Hawaii-based applicants are identified, the Mālama ʻohana Scholarship may be awarded to another highly qualified Summit Scholarship applicant.
