Innovative Educator/Classroom Enrichment Grant (Fall 2024)
Description
This application consists of two options: the Innovative Educator Grant and the Classroom Enrichment Grant. You will be asked which grant you would like to apply for at the beginning of the application. Please note that while you are eligible to apply for multiple grants, each grant application must be submitted separately.
Innovative Educator Grant (Project Based)
Broadview is proud to support education. We believe that teachers reveal the world to spark imagination and inspiration in young learners. All educators are encouraged to apply for this Innovative Educator Grant. The classroom grants should specifically be for the innovation of the applying teacher.
Grants can be used for:
· Enrichment of curriculum
· Experiential learning
· Hands-on learning
· Innovative programs that benefit the students you serve
Grants will not be awarded for the following:
· Fees or travel associated with professional conferences, workshops, or competitions
· Travel associated with field trips
· Promotional materials (example, t-shirts)
· Personal use
Classroom Enrichment Grant (Classroom Assistance)
Broadview is proud to offer this new grant opportunity to our classrooms. This grant allows all students the same opportunity and supplies needed to be successful in the classroom.
Grants can be used for:
· Enrichment of curriculum
· Experimental learning
· Hands-on learning
· Enrichment materials needed in the classroom
Grants will not be awarded for the following:
· Fees or travel associated with professional conferences, workshops, or competitions
· Travel associated with field trips
· Promotional materials (t-shirts, etc.)
· Personal use
Selection Process
Innovative Educator Grant (Project Based)
Applicant Criteria
Applicants must be a PK-12 classroom teacher or special area teacher in a home-school or BOCES in Broadview’s membership footprint (Albany, Buffalo, Binghamton or Syracuse areas) for the 24’-25’ school year.
Individual applicants are not required to be members of Broadview to apply for a grant but will be required to be a Broadview member to receive grant winnings.
Eligibility
Educators from within the same district community can apply and win an educator grant.
Educators within the same individual school community are welcome to apply and will be eligible for grant consideration.
Grant applications for the same project will not be considered for an award. Each application should be specific to the applicant’s individual classroom-based project.
