Resume
An essay reflecting on why you feel especially qualified for one or two specific awards. Choosing to write on a certain award does not disqualify you from another award. An additional essay will be required for those applying to the Herb Jones Memorial Scholarship and the Kirkwood Teachers of Color Scholarship. Please read their descriptions on our website for that specific info.
An application will not be considered complete unless all required materials are completed and the required documentation is received on time. Please allow yourself plenty of time to complete the application, to avoid last minute surprises. Questions can be sent to [email protected]
Once the application process closes, at 11:59pm on February 6, 2026, the KSDF Named Awards Scholarship Committee will review all applications and documentation. No applications will be accepted after the deadline for any reason.
