Kane County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarships 2025-2026

Description

The objective of the KCFB FOUNDATION's scholarship program is to assist students from Kane County and throughout Illinois pursuing higher education and agriculture-related jobs and careers. Scholarships are available for both high school seniors and college students. Additional prerequisites are listed below:


  • KCFB FOUNDATION President's Scholarship: (1 at $5,000) for the most outstanding application for a KCFB Foundation Agricultural Scholarship from a high school senior. The scholarship has been revised for 2025-26 to award 1, $5,000 scholarship in 2025 and a recurring $2,500 scholarship for each of the 3 ensuing years, conditional upon a GPA of 3.0 and continued agriculture major or agriculture coursework emphasis.

    KCFB FOUNDATION Agricultural Scholarships:
    (Up to 12, at up to $2,000 each) . For students pursuing degrees in agriculture related career fields, or ag related service and support, whose parents are members of the Kane County Farm Bureau in good standing at the scholarship application deadline.

    KCFB FOUNDATION General Scholarship: (3 at $1,000 minimum) For high school seniors only whose parents are and have been members of the Kane County Farm Bureau in good standing since February 1, two years prior to the scholarship application deadline.

    Rodholm Charitable Trust Veterinary Scholarship: up to $2,000, for an Illinois resident and student accepted to or enrolled in a School of Veterinary Medicine in the State of Illinois. The scholarship seeks to help develop the next generation of animal care practitioners.

    John Buck Memorial Scholarships: (2 at $1,500) For students from Kane, DeKalb, McHenry, Boone, DuPage, Lake or Will county pursuing a degree in an agriculture field with a preference given to high school seniors with agricultural mechanics and turf management career ambitions.

    Chuck Swanson Memorial Scholarship: ($1,500 minimum) For a student residing in Kane County pursuing a degree in an agriculture related career field.

    AGCO Parts Platinum Scholarship: ($2,500) One award for the most outstanding applicant currently enrolled and who has completed at least one full year of college education, pursuing a degree in an agriculture related field of study, residing in the state of Illinois.

    AGCO Parts Division Scholarships: (2 at $1,000) Two awards for students from Illinois pursuing a degree in an agricultural related career field of study.

    AGCO Global Women's Network Scholarship: (2 at $1,000) Two awards for women from Illinois pursuing a degree in an agricultural related career field of study.
