Description
The mission of the National Black MBA Association® is to lead in the creation of educational, wealth building, and growth opportunities for those historically underrepresented throughout their careers as students, entrepreneurs, and professionals. National Black MBA Association® is dedicated to helping our members pursue education at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
The NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter awards scholarships to deserving doctoral students. Applicants must demonstrate adequate academic progress (not currently on academic probation), strong communication skills, and leadership ability.
Selection Process
Be enrolled full-time as a doctoral student, PhD or DBA with a concentration in business management, finance, marketing, IT, HR, or a business/leadership-related program.
Have and maintain a minimum 2.5 Grade Point Average
Complete an essay
Be a citizen of the United States
Be a member of NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter
Live or attend a college in the metro Atlanta area
