Woodbridge Chick-fil-A Scholarship 2025
Description
The Woodbridge Chick-fil-A Scholarship is offered in partnership with SPARK, the Education Foundation for PWCS, and will offer one (1) $2,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior from one of the following schools serviced by the Woodbridge Chick-fil-A location: Colgan High School, Freedom High School, Gar-Field High School, and Woodbridge High School.
Qualifications
The applicant must have maintained a minimum 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale during his/her high school career and the applicant must provide contact information for a high school counselor in order for a transcript of the first semester grades of his/her senior year may be obtained.
The applicant must be a current senior at one of the following high schools: Colgan, Freedom, Gar-Field, or Woodbridge
The applicant must have 12 months of active community service in 12 months or more prior to submission of application to include examples such as volunteering, non-profit work, and/or tutoring.
Selection Process
The applicant must be accepted for undergraduate study at an accredited two or four-year college or university.
The applicant must demonstrate financial need (explained in written form).
The applicant must submit completed recommendation from one teacher, employer, or other organizational leader.
The applicant must submit an essay in his or her own words, explaining how they plan on making a difference in our society.
