Woodbridge Chick-fil-A Scholarship 2025

Description

The Woodbridge Chick-fil-A Scholarship is offered in partnership with SPARK, the Education Foundation for PWCS, and will offer one (1) $2,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior from one of the following schools serviced by the Woodbridge Chick-fil-A location: Colgan High School, Freedom High School, Gar-Field High School, and Woodbridge High School.

Qualifications

  • The applicant must have maintained a minimum 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale during his/her high school career and the applicant must provide contact information for a high school counselor in order for a transcript of the first semester grades of his/her senior year may be obtained.

  • The applicant must be a current senior at one of the following high schools: Colgan, Freedom, Gar-Field, or Woodbridge

  • The applicant must have 12 months of active community service in 12 months or more prior to submission of application to include examples such as volunteering, non-profit work, and/or tutoring.

Selection Process

  • The applicant must be accepted for undergraduate study at an accredited two or four-year college or university.

  • The applicant must demonstrate financial need (explained in written form).

  • The applicant must submit completed recommendation from one teacher, employer, or other organizational leader.

  • The applicant must submit an essay in his or her own words, explaining how they plan on making a difference in our society.
