Pindler Cares Education Scholarship Program Application 2026-2027
Description
The Pindler Cares Education Scholarship Program offers education scholarships to children of Pindler & Pindler, Inc. employees. To be eligible for a scholarship, prior to the due date of the application, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a dependent child of a current full-time employee in good standing, employed for a minimum of 18 months with Pindler & Pindler, Inc.
The dependent child must be 25 years of age or under when applying.
Dependent children are defined as biological, grand-, step-, or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
If a current employee was not employed, for any reason, for less than 9 months, the employee’s start date is considered the original hire date.
To Apply for the Scholarship:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must be attending their final year of high school, a graduate from an accredited high school, or have received high school equivalency (GED).
Must have plans to enroll, have applied to, or have qualified for entrance to an educational program during the Fall 2026 through/or Spring 2027 terms in the United States, where a degree or certificate of completion can be earned. This includes, but is not limited to:
Junior college
Two or four-year college
Trade school or certificate programs
Vocational/technical school
Higher education beyond the scope of a Bachelor’s Degree will not be considered for a scholarship (i.e., Post-Bachelor’s certificate, Master’s degree, Doctor’s degree, etc.).
Must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student for the duration of the school year and/or program. Traditional post-secondary education students must maintain active enrollment during Fall/Winter/Spring terms (whichever applies at the school the student is attending) and are encouraged to take a minimum of 8 units per term.
Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA, or better.
Non-Renewable Scholarship:
The scholarship is valid only for the academic school year in which the applicant applied or received an award. This scholarship is not renewable. No holdover or guarantee of any kind is made for a scholarship award in any future academic year. The applicant is solely responsible for completing an application and meeting all deadlines if they wish to be considered for a scholarship in subsequent years.
Each applicant is only allowed to be awarded for a maximum of 6 years.
If a student withdraws or is removed during the school year in which they received a scholarship award, the student is ineligible for any future grants from the scholarship fund. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis for verifiable reasons.
Additional Programs:
Backpack Program: Prior to each new school year, the scholarship fund will be used to provide backpacks and school supplies for all employees’ children who are attending school in the Fall. All eligibility criteria will be reviewed and approved by the committee each year.
Maximum Award Amounts:
$5,000: Maximum award to anyone attending a trade school or four-year college program.
$2,500: Maximum award to anyone attending a two-year/associate’s degree or certificate program.
