PrimeWay Medical Scholarship 2025

Our NEW $2,500 Healthcare Professionals' Scholarship is available to enrolled healthcare-related education students.

The $2,500 Healthcare Professionals' Scholarship is available to students enrolled in a healthcare-related education institution, undergraduate and graduate programs. The applicant must be seeking academic or professional degrees, certificates or diplomas within the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare field and must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA.  

Enrolled in summer and/or fall 2025 semester

3.0 GPA or above (on a 4.0-grade-scale)

Applicant must be accepted enrolled in a healthcare-related educational institution, undergraduate or graduate program. 

Applicant must be seeking an academic or professional degree, certification or a diploma within the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare field.  

1. Applicant must be a resident of Harris, Fort Bend or Washington County. 

2. Applicant must be accepted enrolled in a healthcare-related educational institution, undergraduate or graduate program. 

3. Applicant must be seeking an academic or professional degree, certification or a diploma within the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare field  

4. Applicant must complete the required enclosed application to apply for a PrimeWay Federal Credit Union scholarship. (See attached application) 

5. Applicant must demonstrate and document ACTIVE participation in school clubs or organizations, medical facilities, community organizations, charity or volunteer positions. This scholarship is aimed at medical students who are active in their school, medical field and community. 

6. Applicant’s GPA (Grade-Point average) must be 3.0 or above (on a 4.0-grade-scale). Acceptable documentation includes official high school transcript or official college transcript with official seal. 

7. (3) THREE Letters of Recommendation/Reference must be submitted on appropriate letterhead and signed by the appropriate official. 

8. Applicant must submit a typed 1000 words or less essay on the topic assigned in the application (See Section VI). 

9. Applicant must submit a Letter of Acceptance or Registration from intended college/university or vocational/trade school on appropriate letterhead. If the student is already attending college, then proof of enrollment is necessary. If this is not available before the application deadline, it will need to be provided before the distribution of any scholarship funds. 

10. Applicant must thoroughly read and sign the Application Agreement “in the application” (See Section VII)  

11. The following documents are required for a completed scholarship Application: 

• Scholarship Application 

• Official transcript(s) 

• (3) Three signed letters of recommendation on appropriate letterhead 

• 1000 word typed essay 

• Confirmation of college acceptance/registration or proof of enrollment. (If document is not available by deadline, it must be provided before the distribution of any scholarship funds) 

• Scholarship Application Agreement 

12. All applications will be evaluated by the Scholarship Committee at PrimeWay Federal Credit Union. 

13. Scholarship recipients agree to allow PrimeWay Federal Credit Union to publish this information and take photographs for credit union publications, offices and credit union-related trade publications. 

14. Applicants may be asked to submit additional information and/or participate in a personal interview before a final decision is made.
