Nursing Scholarship 2026

Nebraska Health Care Foundation (NHCF) supports those continuing their education in long-term care by awarding a variety of scholarships each year.

NHCF will award four (4) $5,000 Nursing Scholarships to individuals who would like to become registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and practice in the long-term care profession or to RNs and/or LPNs wishing to advance their nursing skills and capabilities.

To spread the impact of the scholarship program, if an applicant has received a scholarship in the same category within the last three years, another applicant may be given preference. However, past recipients are still eligible and encouraged to apply.

Applicant must be either employed in a Nebraska Nursing Facility Association/Nebraska Assisted Living Association (NNFA/NALA) member facility or the immediate relative of a NNFA/NALA employee.
