Summit Faust Scholarship 2025
Description
About the Scholarship: This $5,000 annual scholarship was established by Summit Credit Union in honor and appreciation for Andy Faust’s 28 years as CEO of Summit Credit Union.
Application & Review Process: Applications will be reviewed in May 2025. Applicants will be notified of the status of their nomination by phone or postal mail on or before June 6, 2025. Winners will receive an award check made out to the student and the institute of higher learning the student plans to attend in 2025. Scholarships are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable. Scholarship funds must be used by October 1, 2025 or the student forfeits the scholarship.
Decisions: Decisions of the judges and of Summit Credit Union are final. In the event there are not enough eligible entries, not all scholarships will be awarded. Receiving a scholarship is subject to validation and verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms and conditions of the scholarship program.
Ownership: By applying for the Summit Faust Scholarship, the applicant agrees that Summit Credit Union will own all rights in and to your submission and may reproduce, modify, publish, distribute or publicly display this submission.

Selection Process
Scholarship Eligibility:
The student must be a member of the AVID/TOPS program and a member of Summit Credit Union as of January 1, 2025.
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors only.
Employees, siblings, children and grandchildren of employees and volunteers (board or committee members) of Summit Credit Union are not eligible to participate.
Individuals working as interns in Summit’s high school branches are eligible to apply.
Previous scholarship winners are not eligible for additional scholarships from Summit Credit Union.
All requirements below must be met for application to be eligible for review:
Membership eligibility must be clearly stated on the application
Applications must be submitted by May 10, 2025
