Student Application for The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona 2024
Description
Rotary is an international service organization sharing common values throughout our organization. Because our funds are limited, applications to attend some vocational education programs may be declined because they do not fit in the following areas of our international focus:
Promoting peace
Fighting disease
Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
Saving mothers and children
Supporting education
Growing local economies
Protecting the environment
In recent years, most of our grants have been to support students studying in health-related vocational programs, with a growing number studying fields which serve more basic needs or help expand our Arizona economy. We fund directly to the educational institution – never directly to the student.
Our most common maximum one-time grant is $2,000. If the cost of the program is less than $2,000, we will not fund more than the cost. Allowed costs include:
Tuition
Books
Fees
Tools
Uniforms
Other items required to get certification
Our "Finish Line" grant is a one-time grant of up to $3,000 for the final term or semester of a longer-term vocational education program. If the cost of the final semester is less than $3,000, we will not fund more than the cost (using the above list of allowed costs).
