Simultaneously, the VSGA created the VSGA-VIP Scholarship Foundation [501(c)(3))] whose purpose remains to provide college assistance to young men and women with an interest in golf. The VSGA-VIP Scholarship Foundation has awarded over $2.8 million to more than 1,100 students with an interest in golf.
