ArrowHeart Foundation Scholarship 2025
Introduction
Arrowhead Credit Union established the ArrowHeart Foundation as a 501(c)(3) in 2013 to give back to the communities we serve.
Guided by the principle of "people helping people," the foundation directly supports local communities. By focusing on financial literacy, education, and community development, the foundation seeks to create lasting positive change and provide assistance to those in need.
Description
Education expenses can really add up. That's why the ArrowHeart Foundation is helping make education a little more affordable for the communities we serve with scholarships starting at $1,000 to selected candidates with all of the following eligibility requirements:
Open to members who have an Arrowhead Credit Union account in good standing
Enrolled or accepted into a higher-education learning program (college, trade school, certificate program, etc.)
2.5+ GPA, unweighted
Have a passion for helping others and giving back to their community
Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, integrity, and special achievements
Important Dates:
January 31, 2025 - Final day to submit complete application
April 2025 - ArrowHeart Scholarship recipients announced
Required Documents:
Essay question response
Most recent official transcripts from high school or college
Two letters of recommendation from a teacher or administrator and a non-related community member or employer
Selection Process
Eligible applications will be evaluated, and specific award amounts will be determined based on the following criteria:
Passion for educational advancement
Essay response
Letters of recommendation
GPA
