El Paso New Car Dealers Association Scholarship 2025
Description
The El Paso New Car Dealers Association (EPNCDA) and its board members are pleased to announce our Scholarship Program available for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year. EPNCDA will award $35,000 in total scholarships to full or part-time employees of member dealerships, dependents of employees of member dealerships, grandchildren of full or part-time employees of member dealerships and/or students pursuing a career in automotive technology at Western Technical College in El Paso.
Selection Process
Applicants must meet at least one of the criteria below:
EPNCDA Dealership Employee (full-time or part-time)*
Dependent of EPNCDA Dealership Employee*
Grandchild of EPNCDA Dealership Employee*
Student pursuing a career in automotive technology at Western Technical College in El Paso

Applicants must meet all the criteria below:
Must have a 2.5 grade point average or better (2.5 GPA is a “C” average)
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 hours of college credits per semester for the 2025-2026 academic year, unless fewer hours are required for graduation during student’s senior year
Must correctly complete scholarship application form and recommendation form no later than the deadline of May 1, 2025.
*Dependents of dealers are not eligible*
Please make note that it is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that their current, official transcripts and recommendation forms are received by the EPNCDA office by the deadline date via online submission.
EPNCDA welcomes all first-time scholarship applicants, past recipients, as well as those applicants who applied and were not awarded an EPNCDA Scholarship, as long as the above criteria requirements are met. For purposes of this application, dependent is defined as any individual of whom the employee has legal guardianship.
Both academic merit and a strong ambition to succeed in college or a trade school are key factors that are weighed heavily in the selection process.
Scholarship funds may be available beginning of the fall semester 2025 for the accredited college, university, tech school or trade school chosen by the applicant and approved by the EPNCDA Board.
