2025 O∆K Scholarship

Selection Process

Please read these instructions carefully before you begin your application. You will be required to provide specific information and upload documents before you can complete the application. If you do not have these documents prepared, you may save a draft and log back in to complete the application. You must complete all parts of the application; incomplete applications will not be considered.


There are seven (7) sections.


Section 1 – Personal Information


Section 2 – Institutional Information: Information about undergraduate and graduate/professional programs (if applicable). If not currently enrolled in a higher education institution, the applicant is required to provide details about plans to enroll in graduate/professional school. Collegiate members (at least senior class status) and individuals who have already completed an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply.

 

Section 3 – O∆K Information: Applicants are required to provide information about the circle of initiation (also known as circle of affiliation) along with a 500 word essay about involvement with O∆K.


Sections 4 and 5 – Written Statements: Follow the directions for the written statements carefully. Applicants are required to submit two (2) written statements (500 and 750-word maximum, respectively) in the text boxes provided. It is recommended that applicants write statements in a text editing program and copy the proofed/edited text into the text box when ready to submit. Pay close attention to format instructions.


Section 6 – Recommendations: O∆K requires one reference to fill out a recommendation form about the applicant. Please provide contact information for the recommender. The recommendation form needs to be completed due by the April 1, 2025, deadline.


Section 7 – Documents: An unofficial transcript and resume are required in PDF form. The applicant’s attached resume should focus on campus, volunteer, and extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership skills.
